The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pope misses with an uppercut
and Axe Man counters with a straight right hand.
Axe Man throws a head kick but Pope moves out of range.
Pope throws a front kick aimed at Axe Man's knee but Axe Man avoids it well.
A jab from Axe Man does it's job there.
Axe Man chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Axe Man misses with a double jab.

Axe Man lands a big head kick that sends Pope tumbling to the mat! Axe Man takes a step backwards and waves Pope back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Pope is rocked!

It looks like Daniel Pope has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pope swings away with a body shot that misses
and Axe Man counters with a huge left! Pope is in big trouble! He's backing up but Axe Man isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Pope from any more damage. A dominating finish by Axe Man!

Alex Axe Man was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
