The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bartholomay closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Bartholomay seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Bartholomay is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Bartholomay really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Robinson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bartholomay takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bartholomay uses his free foot to push down on Robinson's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Robinson.
Bartholomay with shots to the head and body - Robinson looks very uncomfortable down there.
Bartholomay lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Robinson hang on?
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bartholomay postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Robinson bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Bartholomay and the fight is over!
