Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kwame Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dante Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kwame Turner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dante Harris! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Donatello Bradman and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Harris will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Harris gets caught napping as Turner dives in and scores a takedown. Harris manages to retain guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Turner postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Harris is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Turner, into his guard. Turner is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Harris defends well. Turner looking for a sweep. Not yet Turner, not yet. Turner has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Harris has passed into side control.
Harris wants to control but Turner is keeping him busy. Turner is looking for a sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harris tries to advance to mount but can't. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Harris trying to control the position but Turner is working away. Turner tries to buck Harris off but Harris is having none of it. Turner wants to get back to his feet. Harris misses with the ground and pound. Turner struggling a bit here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Harris takes a little break here. Turner wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Turner tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Harris wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Turner tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Harris presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Harris looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Turner is trying desperately to improve position. Turner holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Harris tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Turner wants to control but Harris is having none of it. Harris wants to control the pace but Turner is squirming around nicely. Turner throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Harris trying to control but he's not successful this time. Turner wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Turner wants to get back to his feet. Will Harris go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Turner looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Turner is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Harris wants to control but Turner manages to buck him off and is now in Harris's guard! Nice work there by Turner! Harris is looking for a triangle but Turner pushes his legs off easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Kwame Turner will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Harris defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Turner. Harris scores with a head kick. Turner tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Harris throws a body punch but Turner moves out of range. Harris is looking to clinch but Turner is avoiding it.
Turner scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Turner keeps the fight on the outside. Turner closes the distance and clinches up with Harris, looking for a takedown. Turner pushes Harris against the cage but Harris circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Harris shoots in looking for a takedown. Turner tries to sprawl out of it but Harris keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Turner manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Turner closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Harris to the mat! Harris manages to get full guard. Turner has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Harris is proving hard to escape from. Turner will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Turner is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Turner with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Turner working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Harris's head. Turner controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Harris looking for a sweep. Not yet Harris, not yet. Harris has his feet on Turner's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Harris tries for a takedown but Turner circles away easily and Turner counters with a left and a right that stings Harris. Harris is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Harris takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Harris tries to clinch but Turner is having none of it. Harris tries for a takedown but Turner circles away easily and Turner counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Harris! Kwame Turner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dante Harris. This has been an exciting period of action! Harris is not content to let Turner control the position. Turner knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Harris on the ground. Harris prevents Turner from moving into mount. Turner trying to control the position but Harris is working away. Turner cracks Harris with a big right hand but Harris just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harris takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Kwame Turner overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Turner tries to stand but Harris is controlling his head. Turner working the head and body with strikes. Turner wants to control but Harris is keeping him busy. Turner landing strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Turner tries to stand but Harris is controlling his head. Turner is chipping away with strikes.
Turner working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Turner controls the position. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Turner tries to stand but Harris controls the position and pulls Turner into his guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Harris keeping moving, preventing Turner from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kwame Turner dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Turner throws a head kick but Harris moves out of range.
Harris tries to close the distance and clinch but Turner swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Turner throws a leg kick that is checked and Harris counters with a flying knee. Nice. Kwame Turner is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Turner gets the takedown into side control. Harris wants to get back to his feet but Turner drags him back down. Harris is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Turner off and has taken his back! Turner is in bad spot here.

Harris takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harris misses with a punch to the head. Harris has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Turner's body.
Turner is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Harris gets his way!
Harris gets his hands free as Turner looks to control. The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Harris's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Turner looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. Turner prevents Harris from getting a body triangle. Turner trying to control the position but Harris manages to sink in the hooks. Turner is keeping busy.
Harris keeps control of the position as Turner tries to break free.
Harris thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent. Turner covering up well under a series of strikes from Harris.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Turner looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Turner trying to survive by controlling the hands. Turner wants to control his opponent's hands but Harris gets his hands free.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Kwame Turner has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Harris fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Harris tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Turner paws at him with a jab and circles away. Turner shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Turner lands strikes from half guard. Dante Harris has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Turner working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Harris's thigh. Harris counters though and makes it back to full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Kwame Turner showed his dominance in that final round. Well Turner has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
