Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tero Elo! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Johanna Lukiainen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Eerkilaa throws out a loose jab but Elo uses good head movement to avoid it. Eerkilaa moves out of range of the strikes. Eerkilaa misses the jab. Elo shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Eerkilaa looking to hit a scissor sweep but Elo is one step ahead there. Elo seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. It looks like Elo might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Elo thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Elo pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Eerkilaa is keeping the position for now. Eerkilaa will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. That's one minute gone in the round. Elo is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Eerkilaa has managed to free his arm - good work. Elo seems to be looking for submissions.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Elo controlling the position easily from mount. Elo working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Eerkilaa looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Elo! Submission of the night perhaps?
