The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Red uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Martin.
Martin tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Martin swats away the attempt to clinch by Red.
Martin has Red up against the cage in a clinch.

Martin tries to keep at a distance but Red has taken the fight into the clinch.

Martin swings wildly with an uppercut but Red uses good head movement to avoid it.

Still in the clinch, Martin scores with a nice short uppercut.
Red tries to work over Martin's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
A right hook to the body lands for Red.
Martin pushes Red back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Red is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Red goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Martin blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Red gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Red had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Martin defends it easily.
Martin is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Red is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Martin got a little sloppy there for a moment and Red has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Martin has managed to get both his arms back between Red's legs - danger averted.

Red is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Red has his feet on Martin's thighs here. He's pushed Martin off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Martin screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

Mr Red really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that GTI - 1337 sponsors VERSUS logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
