Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dill Bill!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cromash Baker!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Joseph Jones and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baker changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bill looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Baker throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
The ground and pound from Baker seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Baker moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

Bill is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Baker off and has taken his back!

Baker is covering up but some of the strikes from Bill are getting through and doing damage.
Baker tries to break free.
Baker manages to reverse the position and now he's in Bill's guard. Nice work there by Baker.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Baker stops Bill from standing up.
Baker must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's one minute gone in the round.

Bill wants to sweep here but Baker controlling him for the moment.
Bill is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Bill will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Bill had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Baker is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Bill Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Baker's back instead.
Bill doesn't have the hooks in and Baker manages to turn into his guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Bill is trying to keep Baker in close.
Baker wants to control from the top but Bill keeps moving.

Bill is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Baker frees his head nicely. Oh but Bill has switched to an armbar! Baker is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
