Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Dolbakov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joon Joon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Joon Joon was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

6 - 14 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Joon Joon! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Ivan Kurochkin and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dolbakov rushes Joon and presses him up against the cage. Joon looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Dolbakov lands a nice uppercut.
It looks like Joon Joon has been cut. Dolbakov drags the fight down to the ground.
Joon missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Dolbakov wants to stand and escape but Joon is having none of it. Dolbakov wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Joon manages to pass to side control. Dolbakov missing with punches from the bottom.
Dolbakov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Joon on the ground. Dolbakov missing with punches from the bottom.

Joon is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
That's one minute gone in the round. Joon missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Dolbakov looks like he's trying to stand up.

Dolbakov manages to escape and get back to his feet! Dolbakov moves into the clinch. Dolbakov tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Joon smiles and moves away.
Dolbakov has closed the distance and engaged Joon in a clinch.
Dolbakov using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Joon has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Dolbakov lands a nice uppercut. Dolbakov stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Dolbakov gets through Joon's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A short right from Dolbakov on the inside. A short uppercut from Dolbakov. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dolbakov ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Dolbakov no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Dolbakov pushes Joon off and gets back to his feet.
Joon tries to keep at a distance but Dolbakov has taken the fight into the clinch. Joon takes a shot to the head. A short right hand to the side of the head by Dolbakov. Joon gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Dolbakov.
Dolbakov lands a nice uppercut.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dolbakov pushes Joon back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Dolbakov pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Joon avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Dolbakov is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Dolbakov tries to clinch up. Ivan Dolbakov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dolbakov pushes Joon up against the cage in a clinch. Dolbakov just leaning against Joon, taking a breather. Joon drops down looking for an ankle pick but Dolbakov pulls his leg out and moves away.

Dolbakov lands a shoulder strike. Dolbakov has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Joon uses from the top position. Joon prevents Dolbakov from getting back to his feet. Joon has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dolbakov pushes Joon off and gets back to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dolbakov tries to close the distance and clinch up but Joon swats him away and circles back towards the center. Joon slaps away a takedown attempt from Dolbakov, before circling back to the center of the mat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ivan Dolbakov. That's going to take a lot out of him. Joon avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Dolbakov tries to clinch up but Joon circles away and keeps his distance. Dolbakov gets a takedown into half guard. Dolbakov stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Joon to get to his feet. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Joon misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ivan Dolbakov dominated that round. The cut man is working on Joon Joon's cut. That's time! Back to the action!

Dolbakov thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Dolbakov pushes Joon off and gets back to his feet.
Joon throws a head kick that misses. Dolbakov shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Joon sprawls well. Joon wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dolbakov gets slowly back to his feet. Dolbakov clinches up with Joon and pushes him back against the cage. Dolbakov jumps guard and drags Joon to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Joon is breathing heavily. Dolbakov wants to stand but Joon is controlling the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dolbakov pushes Joon off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dolbakov tries to clinch there but Joon circles away.
Dolbakov looks to land a combination. Joon sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Dolbakov tries to close the distance and clinch up but Joon swats him away and circles back towards the center. Dolbakov fails in his attempt to clinch. Joon has closed the distance and engaged Dolbakov in a clinch.
Dolbakov scores with a nice hook to the head. Dolbakov lands a nice uppercut. Dolbakov wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Dolbakov lands with a short shot to the head. Dolbakov lands a right hand. Dolbakov lands a hook to the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dolbakov lands with a left to the head. Dolbakov lands a right hand that snaps the head of Joon backwards. Joon is trying to break the clinch but Dolbakov has him pressed against the cage. Still in the clinch, Dolbakov scores with a nice short uppercut. Dolbakov lands a hook to the side of the head. A quick uppercut on the inside from Dolbakov. Dolbakov lands with a right to the head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Joon's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Joon is rocked! Dolbakov working some nice short punches in the clinch. Joon is still on wobbly legs! Can Dolbakov finish him? Dolbakov softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Dolbakov lands an uppercut. Dolbakov creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Joon with a big uppercut! Joon tries to clinch up but Dolbakov pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Joon to the mat! Joon covers up and Dolbakov unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Ivan Dolbakov!
