Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Alexio Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Norifumi Yamamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva comes to the cage accompanied by Jamba - Tyler, The Creator. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

12 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Alexio Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Norifumi Yamamoto!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Yamamoto did well to prevent Silva getting side control.
Yamamoto pushes Silva off looking to stand but Silva dives back in and keeps control.
Yamamoto is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Silva passes the guard and advances to mount!
Silva scoring with strikes but Yamamoto is staying in there.
Silva has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Silva postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Yamamoto looks a forlorn figure.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Silva working for a guillotine from mount but Yamamoto is in no mood to give up.
Silva has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Yamamoto's face.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Silva with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Silva quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Silva but it's paid off an Yamamoto is forced to tap! Nice work by Silva.
