The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Winner slips a jab and a cross from Anderson.
Winner has a takedown stuffed.
Winner shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Anderson drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Winner is looking to improve his position.

Anderson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Winner does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Matthew Anderson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Darth Winner.
Anderson looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Winner is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Anderson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Anderson's back!

Oooh a big shot gets through from Winner. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
Anderson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Winner on the ground.
