Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Arthur Glory! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, James Siver! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Donatello Bradman and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Siver shoots in and drives through. Glory sprawls well. Glory looks for a takedown but Siver sprawls well. Glory moves into the clinch successfully.
Glory jumps guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Siver lands a couple of elbows. Siver tries to free his leg and advance position but Glory is retaining full guard. Glory utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Siver stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Glory swivels though and keeps the full guard. Siver missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Siver in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Siver is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Glory working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Siver. Siver throws a big right hand that misses.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Siver lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Siver slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Siver won't allow Glory to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Siver wants to control from the top but Glory keeps moving.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Glory shoots and misses and Siver counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Siver looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Siver wants to take a breather but Glory is having none of it. Siver not landing any meaningful shots this time. Siver drops an elbow to the side of Glory's head. Glory is not content to let Siver control the position. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Siver trying to mount his opponent but Glory defends it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Siver thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Glory's head. Siver seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Glory does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Siver works his way into side control. Glory taking a bit of punishment here - Siver scoring with strikes. Siver lands a few punches from side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Glory is not content to let Siver control the position. Siver scores with punches from side control. Siver lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Glory down.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Glory is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Glory is trying to get back to half guard. Siver tries to advance to mount but can't. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
