Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jack Hudock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cliff Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hudock comes to the cage accompanied by Dark Tranquillity - Her Silent Language. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Cliff Harris enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack Hudock! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cliff Harris! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Alyssa Summers and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab from Harris finds it's way through Hudock's defenses. Harris throws a low kick but Hudock avoids it. Harris is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Hudock's half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Harris wants to pass the guard but Hudock is defending well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hudock is defending against the submission attempts here by Harris.
Harris not doing much here.
Hudock is staying active underneath Harris, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harris passes into side control, despite Hudock's attempt to control the position.
Harris content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Hudock tries to buck Harris off but Harris is having none of it. Harris wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hudock keeps working. Hudock tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hudock bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Harris has his foot on Hudock's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hudock works his way back into a safe position though. Harris preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Harris working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Hudock. Hudock trying to control but Harris is working from the bottom. Harris is looking for a triangle but Hudock pushes his legs off easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Harris escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hudock gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Harris is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hudock defends well. Hudock pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Harris is keeping the position for now. Harris looking for a sweep. Not yet Harris, not yet. Hudock got a little sloppy there for a moment and Harris has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hudock has managed to get both his arms back between Harris's legs - danger averted. Hudock has gone for a leg lock! Harris slips out almost immediately though and dives into Hudock's guard. Hudock escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Harris gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hudock is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Harris defends well. Hudock has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Harris can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Hudock wants to sweep but no luck. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cliff Harris dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Hudock fails with the takedown and Harris connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Jack Hudock has been cut. Hudock works over Harris's head and body with a nice combination. Jack Hudock is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Hudock shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Harris defends it nicely. A chopping leg kick lands by Harris. Hudock shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Hudock. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hudock cracks Harris with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Good leg kick by Harris there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Hudock fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Harris missing with a left hand there. Hudock was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hudock throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hudock connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Hudock throws a series of punches but Harris avoids them all with ease. Hudock with a lazy takedown attempt and Harris counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Harris postures up and lands a big shot to Hudock's brow. Harris is in close to Hudock's body, working some short punches and elbows. Hudock has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Harris has passed into side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Harris scores with a couple of short elbows. Harris scoring with punches from side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Harris landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Hudock is rocked! Hudock seems a little lost for a moment, as Harris dominates the positioning. Oh Hudock is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Hudock is working to avoid the ground and pound but Harris connects with a decent elbow. Hudock is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Harris goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Hudock rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Harris's guard! Nice work there by Hudock! Harris looking for a guillotine here but Hudock defends easily.
Harris pulls Hudock in close to prevent any damage. Hudock seems to have got his legs back now. Harris working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Hudock.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hudock drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Harris dives on top into guard. Hudock working for a triangle but Harris defends it easily.
Harris controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Harris postures up in Hudock's guard and throws a big left but Hudock blocks it. Harris lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Hudock trying to keep a closed guard but Harris is proving a slippery customer.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Harris throws an elbow that misses. Hudock uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Harris's guard. Nice move by Hudock! Harris lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Hudock! Harris is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Hudock has managed to escape the submission attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. BOOM! Harris connects with a massive shot to the dome!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cliff Harris showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Jack Hudock's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Harris doesn't manage to clinch there - Hudock circles away.
Hudock throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Harris's waist but Harris gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hudock off to one side. Hudock shoots in for a double leg but Harris sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Harris is looking to clinch but Hudock is avoiding it.
Hudock shoots in and drives through. Harris sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Hudock. That's going to take a lot out of him. Harris misses with a straight right. No luck with that takedown attempt from Hudock. Hudock tries to clinch up. Harris shoots in but Hudock avoids the takedown attempt easily. Harris takes a swing at Hudock's ribcage but misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hudock chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Harris can pounce on him.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Harris is defended easily by Hudock. Harris lands with a cross. Harris shoots in and bounces Hudock off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Harris is in close to Hudock's body, working some short punches and elbows. Harris sitting in guard, not really doing much.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Harris looking to pass the guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Harris accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Harris wants to control from the top but Hudock keeps moving. Harris controls the pace of the fight for a moment. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Harris wants to control from the top but Hudock keeps moving.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Cliff Harris. Hudock fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hudock shoots for a double leg takedown but Harris sprawls well. He's pushed Hudock's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Harris thuds his right hand into Hudock's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Harris tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Hudock feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Harris trying to control the position.
Hudock stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Harris swivels though and keeps the full guard. Cliff Harris has got the better of the ground game so far. Harris working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hudock doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hudock manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Jack Hudock has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Harris looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Hudock looking to pass the guard. Hudock throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Harris works some decent striking defense from the bottom. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Harris has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hudock can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hudock postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Harris avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
And that's the end of the fight! Cliff Harris comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Harris has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
