Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Scott Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Duggan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duggan has chosen Bitch!!! Where you been as his entrance music. Jim Duggan is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Scott Sanchez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 10 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jim Duggan! The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Viktor Lagutenko and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanchez throws a series of punches but Duggan moves out of range. Duggan dives in and grabs Sanchez's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sanchez pushes down on Duggan's head and hops out. Duggan looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Duggan with a lazy takedown attempt and Sanchez counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Scott Sanchez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jim Duggan. Sanchez rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Duggan moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Sanchez looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Sanchez takes a head kick and keeps coming.
No joy there for Sanchez, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Sanchez throws a right and a left that Duggan avoids nicely. Jim Duggan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Duggan darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Duggan is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sanchez avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Duggan.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duggan lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Duggan not doing much here.
Sanchez knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Duggan on the ground. Sanchez blocking the ground and pound attempt from Duggan. Sanchez might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Duggan controlling the action here. Duggan looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sanchez tries to kick Duggan off but Duggan keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Duggan working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Sanchez blocking the ground and pound attempt from Duggan. Sanchez wants to control but Duggan is keeping busy and won't allow it. Duggan with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Sanchez looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Duggan slows the pace down in half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Duggan missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Duggan wants to pass to mount but Sanchez is defending the position. Duggan landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Sanchez is looking to escape. Duggan is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Duggan stalling. Duggan throwing shots but Sanchez is blocking nicely. Duggan is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Duggan controlling the position easily from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Duggan postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Sanchez looks a forlorn figure.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sanchez is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Duggan lands a big elbow. Sanchez is bucking up trying to escape but Duggan cracks him with another couple of good strikes. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Duggan quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Duggan but it's paid off an Sanchez is forced to tap! Nice work by Duggan.
