Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Brian Tombo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hans Lankari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lankari has chosen AC/DC - Thunderstruck as his entrance music. Brian Tombo looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Brian Tombo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
12 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Hans Lankari!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lankari dodges the punch combination from Tombo.
Tombo falls off balance throwing a combination
and Lankari counters with a left and a right that stings Tombo.
Tombo closes the distance but Lankari moves to the side
and Lankari counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Lankari escapes and gets back to his feet.
Nice straight punches there by Lankari. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Lankari.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lankari gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Lankari pulls Tombo into guard.
Tombo trying to control the position from guard on top but Lankari is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Tombo is fighting to break Lankari's control of his arms but Lankari is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Lankari manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Tombo manages to get himself to full guard.
Lankari throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lankari decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Tombo gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Lankari stands up and beckons Tombo to his feet.
Brian Tombo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tombo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Tombo looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lankari feints a jab promting Tombo to slip. Lankari then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Tombo slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Tombo looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Tombo is breathing heavily.
Lankari digs a good body shot into Tombo's ribs.
Lankari fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Lankari closes the distance and clinches.
Tombo is trying to break free.
Lankari jumps into guard, dragging Tombo to the mat.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lankari is on top in guard.
Lankari is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Lankari passes Tombo's left leg - he's now in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lankari works his foot free and advances to mount.

Lankari controlling from the full mount.
Tombo tries to control Lankari's body but Lankari pushes him off. Tombo squirms to his side and now Lankari has his back!
Lankari working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Tombo is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Lankari has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Tombo taps out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Hans Lankari!
Our winner, Hans Lankari, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
