The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Champion fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Winfred avoids it really well and circles away.
Tournament Champion seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Champion closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Winfred's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Winfred wants to stand up but Champion is controlling him.

A big strike lands for Champion! That's really hurt Winfred and he's turned his back - Champion keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Champion jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
