Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ben T Lador (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodolph Pyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ben T Lador!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rodolph Pyle!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Emerson Jorge and Paulo Santos.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lador moves away from the strike by Pyle.
Lador has a takedown stuffed.
Pyle lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Lador checks the leg kick nicely there.
Pyle misses with a jab, cross combination.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Lador is defended easily by Pyle.
Pyle throws a head kick but Lador moves out of range.
Lador doesn't manage to clinch there - Pyle circles away.
Pyle looks to land a body kick but Lador moved away.
Pyle moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Pyle misses with a head kick.
Pyle looks to land a body kick but Lador moved away.
Pyle looks to land a combination but Lador avoids it well.

Lador fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Pyle, pushing him back against the cage.

Lador is looking for a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ben T Lador. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pyle is trying to force a seperation but Lador has the dominant position.
Pyle misses with a punch on the inside.
Lador tries to circle away but Pyle has him pinned against the cage.
Lador looking for a takedown.
Lador misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Pyle.
Pyle wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Lador has him pressed against the cage.

Pyle breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Pyle swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Lador moves out of range of the strikes.
Pyle pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pyle throws a head kick but Lador moves out of range.

Pyle gets caught napping as Lador dives in and scores a takedown. Pyle manages to retain guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Lador trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Pyle looks winded!
Lador wants to pass the guard but Pyle is keeping the position.
Lador has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Lador pushes down on Pyle's leg and manages to get into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lador is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Lador passes to side control.
Lador lands a few punches from side control.
Lador cracks Pyle with an elbow. That is naaassty.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Pyle is not content to let Lador control the position.
Lador has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Pyle is trying to stand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Ben T Lador will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


A head kick by Lador misses
and Pyle counters with a good, hard body kick but Lador shrugs it off.
Lador shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Pyle as he jumps to the side.
Pyle looks to land a combination but Lador avoids it well.

Lador gets a double leg takedown into Pyle's guard.

Lador has gone for a leg lock! Pyle slips out almost immediately though and dives into Lador's guard.
Pyle trying to control the position from guard on top but Lador is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Lador keeping full guard, as Pyle tries to pass.
Pyle won't allow Lador to get back to his feet.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Rodolph Pyle hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Pyle throws a right hand that Lador ducks under and follows up with a left that Lador also avoids with ease.
Lador shoots in for a double leg but Pyle sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Rodolph Pyle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pyle throws a right and a left that both miss.
Pyle bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Pyle connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Pyle is breathing heavily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Pyle.
Lador tries to clinch but Pyle is having none of it.
Pyle throws a hook to the side of Lador's head but Lador sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Pyle stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Pyle wants it to stay on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ben T Lador. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pyle tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Lador tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pyle sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lador somewhat.
Pyle throws an overhand right that lands on Lador's shoulder, as Lador tries to avoid the shot.
Lador fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Pyle avoids it really well and circles away.
Pyle connects with a leg kick. Lador looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Pyle keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Pyle throws a head kick that misses.
Pyle throws a sloppy head kick
and Lador counters with an inside leg kick.
Pyle misses with the combination.
Lador fails with the takedown.
Lador shoots in but no luck this time.
Good leg kick by Pyle there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Lador shoots in but Pyle avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Lador takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Ben T Lador is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Pyle throws a head kick but Lador moves out of range.
Pyle throws a head kick that misses.
Lador fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Pyle plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Lador closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Lador lands in his opponent's guard.
Lador passes easily into side control. Nice work.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Rodolph Pyle will probably get the nod - 10:9.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!


Pyle misses with a body kick.
Pyle looks to land a combination. Lador sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Lador shoots for a double leg takedown but Pyle sprawls well. He's pushed Lador's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Lador feints and as Pyle raises his hands in defense, Lador changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Lador stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pyle swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Lador controls from within his opponent's guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Ben T Lador just wasn't active enough.

Lador bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lador moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Ben T Lador overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
The ground and pound from Lador seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Lador trying to control the action but Pyle is working from the bottom.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Pyle wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

That's two minutes gone in the round.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Ben T Lador.
Lador fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Lador scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Lador throwing shots but Pyle is blocking nicely.
Lador thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Pyle's head.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lador controlling the action here.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Lador lands a nice short elbow.
Lador keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Ben T Lador.

Lador changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pyle looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Lador is trying to get an arm triangle but Pyle is defending well.
Pyle managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Lador.
Lador throws a strike aimed at the side of Pyle's head but Pyle avoids it well.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Lador is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Pyle's shoulder. That is not cool.

And that's the end of the fight!
Ben T Lador showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Lador has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A very excited looking Ben T Lador rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
