Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Moxson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Raeinjai Jieaneene! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moxson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Jieaneene tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Moxson is in Jieaneene's guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Jieaneene throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Moxson controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Moxson advances position into side control! Jieaneene tries to bench press Moxson off him but Moxson keeps the position. Jieaneene tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad. Moxson looking to control and managing it successfully. Jieaneene working to try and regain half guard.
Jieaneene tries to improve his position but Moxson has taken his back! Moxson has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Jieaneene tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Moxson pushes Jieaneene away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). John Moxson! A very excited looking John Moxson made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
