Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jani Kanerva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pasi Bull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bull has a takedown stuffed.

Kanerva fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Bull to the ground. Kanerva is now in Bull's guard.
Kanerva loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Kanerva manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bull manages to get himself to full guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bull is on top in guard.

Bull trying to control the position from guard on top but Kanerva is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Kanerva wants to sweep here but Bull controlling him for the moment.
Bull wants to get up but he can't break Kanerva's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Bull is looking to work some ground and pound but Kanerva has wrist control.

Bull is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Kanerva is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Kanerva controls Bull momentarily but Bull frees himself.

Bull cracks Kanerva with a solid left hand.
Bull has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Kanerva is proving hard to escape from.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Bull shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kanerva defends it nicely.

Bull doesn't manage to clinch there - Kanerva circles away.

Bull gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Kanerva is working Bull over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Bull has his feet on Kanerva's thighs here. He's pushed Kanerva off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Kanerva screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
