Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Henri Ivanovski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sorbinian Potasu! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Radbod Blank and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ivanovski shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Potasu as he jumps to the side. Ivanovski shoots in but Potasu avoids the takedown attempt easily. Ivanovski looking for a takedown here - he's got it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ivanovski postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Potasu keeping full guard, as Ivanovski tries to pass. Ivanovski drops back looking for a leg! Potasu is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Potasu manages to kick Ivanovski off! Ivanovski jumps back into Potasu's guard. Ivanovski passes Potasu's left leg - he's now in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Potasu won't allow Ivanovski to pass to mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ivanovski thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Ivanovski lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Ivanovski tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Potasu wants to control but Ivanovski is keeping busy.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Potasu keeping control of the position. Ivanovski is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Potasu doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ivanovski. Ivanovski winds up and cracks Potasu with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Ivanovski wants to pass to mount but Potasu is defending the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ivanovski seems to be looking for submissions.
Ivanovski is stalling here. Potasu is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Ivanovski seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Potasu has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Ivanovski is being controlled here. Ivanovski tries to buck Potasu off but Potasu is having none of it. Potasu just content to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ivanovski regains half guard. Ivanovski trying to control here.
Sorbinian Potasu has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Ivanovski moves forwards but Potasu connects with a nice, crisp jab. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Nice straight punches there by Potasu. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Potasu.
It looks like Henri Ivanovski has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Potasu cracks Ivanovski with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Potasu has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Ivanovski to stand back up! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sorbinian Potasu dominated that round. The cut man is working on Henri Ivanovski's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
Potasu lands with a big right hook that stumbles Ivanovski - he's out on his feet here! Potasu follows up with another monster hook that separates Ivanovski from consciousness! Ivanovski falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Potasu stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
