Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kiko Kaluma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kaluma has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Kiko Kaluma has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Kenichi Hosakawa and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith gets a clinch.
Kaluma is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Kaluma looks winded!
Smith lands a nice knee to the body.

Kaluma jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Smith walks away with a smile on his face. Kaluma gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Kaluma avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

and Kaluma counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Smith comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Kaluma has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Smith is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
