Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Earnest Abe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oscar Salcedo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Abe might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Uncle Sam Goddamn. Salcedo has chosen Sail-Awolnation as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Bruno Lombardi and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salcedo throws a hook to the side of Abe's head but Abe sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Salcedo throws an ugly left hook that misses
letting Abe counter with a right hand.
Salcedo jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A punch lands to the side of Salcedo 's head but he takes it in his stride.
It looks like Oscar Salcedo has been cut.
Salcedo misses with an uppercut.
Salcedo moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Salcedo looks to land a right hand but Abe moved out of range.
Abe uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Salcedo.
Salcedo throws a jab but it's blocked by Abe.
Abe loads up on a big right hand but Salcedo slips the punch.

Abe misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Salcedo is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.

Salcedo tries to clinch up but Abe circles away and keeps his distance.

and Abe counters with a nice kick to the body.
Salcedo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Abe moves away.
Abe bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Salcedo's head backwards.

Salcedo throws a series of punches but Abe moves out of range.

Abe keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Salcedo might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Abe on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Abe's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Salcedo connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Abe scrambles back to his feet.
Salcedo throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Salcedo takes a shot to the body in his stride.
A head kick misses from Abe.
Abe fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A jab lands there for Salcedo.
Abe lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Salcedo circles away quickly and effectively.
Salcedo throws a predictable looking body shot
and Abe counters with an outside leg kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from Salcedo. Abe does a little dance to reset his feet.
Abe takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Abe connects with a body shot that sends Salcedo's belly button to the back.
Salcedo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Salcedo stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Abe.
Salcedo looks winded!
Abe cracks Salcedo with a good jab.
Salcedo avoids the body shot from Abe.
Abe looks for the body kick but Salcedo saw that one coming.
Salcedo fails with the takedown.
Salcedo closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Abe to the mat! Abe manages to get full guard.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Salcedo postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Abe controlling Salcedo's posture.
Abe avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Salcedo wants to pass the guard but Abe is keeping the position.
Salcedo scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Abe wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Salcedo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Salcedo working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Salcedo throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Abe works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Salcedo working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Abe's head.
Salcedo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Abe swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Salcedo trying to control but Abe is working from the bottom.
Salcedo has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Salcedo in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Salcedo throws an elbow that misses. Abe uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Salcedo's guard. Nice move by Abe!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Earnest Abe will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Oscar Salcedo's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Salcedo throws a right hand that Abe ducks under and follows up with a left that Abe also avoids with ease.
Salcedo fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Salcedo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Abe slips under a jab.
Salcedo takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Abe throws out a leg kick but Salcedo moves out of range and Abe only half commits.
Abe throws a right and a left that both miss.
Abe connects with a right hand. Salcedo shakes it off.
Salcedo comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Abe dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Salcedo. That did some damage!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Salcedo chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Abe can pounce on him.
Abe displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Salcedo.
Abe is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

A lazy left from Abe finds it's target.
Salcedo is breathing heavily.
Salcedo jabs Abe right on the nose. Abe blinks but takes it well.
Oscar Salcedo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Abe uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Salcedo.
Salcedo lands with a nice combination. Abe backs away looking to recover.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Abe sends Salcedo crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Abe is motioning to the referee to let Salcedo up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Salcedo is rocked!
That has opened up Oscar Salcedo's cut even more.
Abe sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Salcedo's defenses. It connects perfectly with Salcedo's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Earnest Abe!

A very excited looking Earnest Abe made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
