The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Chad Campbell and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Langer throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Patos tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Langer is in Patos's guard.
Patos throws his legs up looking for a submission but Langer uses it to pass to side control.
Patos is trying to get back to half guard.

Patos tries to buck Langer off but Langer is having none of it.
Langer is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Patos knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Langer takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
