Emelianenko jumps guard but cro cop stands there with Emelianenko around his waist. Emelianenko gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Emelianenko wants to get back to striking at distance but cro cop won't allow it.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

cro cop tightens his grip and picks Emelianenko up, before dumping him to the ground. Emelianenko manages to land in guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
cro cop clinches up with Emelianenko and pushes him back against the cage.
Emelianenko tries to pull guard but cro cop holds him up against the cage and eventually Emelianenko drops back down to his feet.
cro cop has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Emelianenko regains guard immediately.
Emelianenko is working an open guard so cro cop takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
cro cop stalks Emelianenko and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Emelianenko's face. Emelianenko staggers backwards, shaken.
cro cop lands a nice looking body kick.
cro cop closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - cro cop lands in his opponent's guard.
Emelianenko is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but cro cop frees his head nicely. Oh but Emelianenko has switched to an armbar! cro cop is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
