Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ed Soma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoshi Mucao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ed Soma! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yoshi Mucao! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Soma closes the distance and clinches. Mucao wants a takedown but no success here.
Soma breaks the clinch.
Mucao is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Soma. No joy there for Soma, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Soma misses with a jab, cross combination.
Mucao throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Soma. Soma uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mucao.

Soma will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Soma bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Soma clinches up with Mucao and pushes him back against the cage. Mucao gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Mucao is pressing down on Soma's thigh, looking to free his foot. Soma is holding on for now. Mucao is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Soma is just riding it out for now. Mucao eventually gives up the hold. Mucao trying to mount his opponent but Soma defends it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mucao lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Mucao thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Mucao is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Soma! Soma is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Mucao is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Soma is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Soma flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Mucao anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Soma and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Mucao slips an arm under Soma chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Mucao has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Mucao is squeezing on Soma like an anaconda would it's prey. Soma fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Yoshi Mucao!
