Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Miguel Lotto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmner Halleineaf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Miguel Lotto! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jimmner Halleineaf! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Dean Styles and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Halleineaf tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lotto swivels and escapes. Halleineaf changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lotto tries to avoid it but Halleineaf manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lotto to the ground. Lotto escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Lotto scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Halleineaf shoots in for a takedown but Lotto shows good takedown defense. Miguel Lotto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jimmner Halleineaf. Lotto darts in and clinches Halleineaf up against the cage. Halleineaf is pressed up against the cage. Lotto has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Halleineaf down to the mat. Halleineaf avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Lotto misses with a takedown attempt - Halleineaf sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Halleineaf shoots in looking for a takedown but Lotto manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Halleineaf's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Halleineaf lands a head kick!
Halleineaf should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Halleineaf throws a poor cross that misses
and Lotto moves into the clinch. Lotto is pressed up against the cage. Halleineaf has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Lotto down to the mat. Lotto avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Lotto looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Halleineaf stuffs the takedown attempt from Lotto. Lotto gets slowly back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Halleineaf shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lotto sprawls well. Lotto wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Halleineaf gets slowly back to his feet. Lotto misses with a low kick as Halleineaf jumps back. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lotto. Lotto shoots in for a takedown but Halleineaf shows good takedown defense. Halleineaf tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lotto sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Halleineaf somewhat. Lotto has managed to clinch.
Halleineaf has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Lotto after a bit of a struggle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Halleineaf is trying to stall.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Halleineaf being controlled here momentarily. Lotto manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Lotto controlling his opponent. Halleineaf really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lotto. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Lotto landing punches.

Lotto postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Halleineaf looks a forlorn figure.
Lotto has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Halleineaf in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Lotto is landing with some decent strikes but Halleineaf is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Halleineaf is trying to escape the mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lotto trying to control but Halleineaf is having none of it. Halleineaf is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Lotto has hold of Halleineaf's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Halleineaf manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Lotto trying to control but he's not successful this time. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lotto takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Halleineaf sprawls well. Halleineaf throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lotto's waist but Lotto gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Halleineaf off to one side. Halleineaf tries to clinch but Lotto is having none of it. Jimmner Halleineaf seems to be getting the better of the standup. Halleineaf fails to land the takedown. Halleineaf scores to the head and body with a nice combination! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Halleineaf throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. No luck for Lotto with that takedown attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Miguel Lotto will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Halleineaf postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Lotto is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Halleineaf, into his guard. Lotto slips nicely into half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Miguel Lotto showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lotto, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
