Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Miles Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Warriner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jenkins gets cracked there but stands up to it.

It looks like Dan Warriner has been cut. No joy there for Jenkins, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

It looks like Miles Jenkins has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Warriner lands a couple of elbows. Oh Jenkins is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Jenkins has his foot on Warriner's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Warriner works his way back into a safe position though. Warriner wanted to stand there but Jenkins had control of the position. Jenkins seems to have got his legs back now. Jenkins working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Warriner. Jenkins throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Jenkins is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Warriner really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jenkins. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Warriner in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Jenkins not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

He's managed it. Jenkins scrambles and gets back to his feet.

That's going to take a lot out of him. Jenkins gets the takedown into side control. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Warriner tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Jenkins wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Warriner is not content to let Jenkins control the position. Jenkins works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jenkins prevents Warriner from escaping the position. Jenkins tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Jenkins has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Warriner is positioning himself to get back to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dan Warriner showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
