Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kong Man Choi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Default Fighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Default Fighter is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kong Man Choi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Default Fighter!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Thiago Cunha and Alexandre Firmino.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Choi attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Choi pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Choi comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Choi throws a body kick that misses.
Fighter fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Kong Man Choi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Choi throws a solid leg kick but Fighter takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Choi.

Choi gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Choi knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fighter on the ground.
Fighter tries to free his leg and advance position but Choi is retaining full guard.
Fighter trying to control but Choi is working from the bottom.
Fighter wants to pass the guard but Choi is keeping the position.
Fighter is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Fighter trying to control the position from guard on top but Choi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Fighter works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Fighter looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Fighter is looking to take a break and control but Choi is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Choi keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Choi throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Choi tries to bum rush Fighter with a series of wild strikes but Fighter uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Choi fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Fighter is out of range.
Choi misses with a two punch combination.
Choi misses with an attempted mid kick.
Fighter tries a head kick but it misses.
Choi misses with a double jab.
Fighter fails with a takedown attempt.
Kong Man Choi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Default Fighter.
Fighter fails to land the takedown.
Fighter looks gassed!
Fighter fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Choi.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Choi looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Choi lands with a nice combination. Fighter backs away looking to recover.
Fighter shoots for a double leg takedown but Choi sprawls well. He's pushed Fighter's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Choi cracks Fighter with an open hand slap.
Choi's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Choi duly obliges.
Choi scores with a body shot.
Choi lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Fighter backs up against the cage.
Choi does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Choi throws the kick towards the body but Fighter avoids it.
The crowd cheers as Choi lands an impressive looking overhand right. Fighter doesn't seem phased though.

and Fighter counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Choi is looking to escape.

Fighter seems to be looking for submissions.
Choi is trying to stand back up but Fighter is controlling him
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Fighter wants to pass the guard but Choi is defending well.

Fighter is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Choi is just riding it out for now. Fighter eventually gives up the hold.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Default Fighter dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Choi lands with a nice combination. Fighter backs away looking to recover.
Nice takedown defense from Choi. No joy for Fighter on that attempt.
Choi misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Choi.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Choi lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Fighter has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Fighter and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Fighter fails with the takedown.
Kong Man Choi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Default Fighter.
Choi lands a glancing blow to the side of Fighter's head.
Fighter avoids the body shot from Choi.
Choi throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Choi throws a sloppy head kick and Fighter moves out of range easily.
Choi lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Fighter avoids the head kick by Choi.
Choi walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Fighter checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Fighter has a takedown stuffed.
Fighter misses with a takedown attempt - Choi sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Fighter avoids a punch combination nicely.
Kong Man Choi is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Fighter checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
No luck for Fighter with that takedown attempt.

The fighters circling - Choi throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Choi throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Fighter looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Choi is fending him off so far but Fighter persists. Nope, Choi circles away and we're back to standing.
Choi throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Fighter avoids the head kick by Choi.
Choi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Choi throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Choi tries to land a leg kick but Fighter saw it coming and moves away.
Choi looks for the body kick but Fighter saw that one coming.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Fighter moves out of range of the body kick.
Choi throws a lazy head kick

and Fighter counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Fighter prevents Choi from getting back to his feet.
Choi keeping full guard, as Fighter tries to pass.
Fighter pushing down on Choi's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Fighter works his way into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fighter tries to advance to mount but Choi denies him.
Choi gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!

Fighter throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.

Fighter moves to take his opponent's back.

Fighter is looking for the choke from the back position but Choi is controlling his hands well.
Fighter is working the ground and pound. Can Choi escape?
Choi controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.

Choi trying to get back to his feet but Fighter is in full control for now.

Default Fighter showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Fighter takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Fighter shoots for a takedown but Choi saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Choi stuffs the takedown attempt from Fighter. Fighter gets slowly back to his feet.
Kong Man Choi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Default Fighter.
Fighter misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Fighter takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Choi throws a low kick but Fighter avoids it.
Horrible takedown by Fighter or perhaps it was just good defense by Choi which made him look bad.

Choi stuffs the takedown attempt from Fighter. Fighter gets slowly back to his feet.
Choi pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Choi ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Fighter moves away.

Fighter tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Choi paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Choi misses with a looping left.
Choi keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Choi throws a left and a right that both miss

and Fighter counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Fighter has clasped his hands together around Choi's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Fighter wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Choi, who protects the arm well.

Fighter goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Choi has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Fighter but great work by Choi.
Fighter tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Choi wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Fighter is trying to control Choi's posture but Choi avoids it.
Default Fighter has got the better of the ground game so far.
Choi tries to stand but Fighter is controlling his head.

Fighter is looking for a sweep.
Choi working away.
Fighter is looking to regain half guard here but Choi keeps moving and retains side control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Choi lands a slapping body shot.
Choi lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Fighter dodges the punch combination from Choi.
Choi throws a hook to the side of Fighter's head but Fighter sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

and Fighter counters with a takedown into side control.

Fighter is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Choi has escaped the position, nice work there.

Fighter tries to move into full mount but can't pass Choi's legs.
Choi on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Choi tries to get out of the position.
Fighter is looking to take a break and control but Choi is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Choi wants to get back to his feet but Fighter drags him back down.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Fighter throws an elbow but Choi slips to the side and avoids it well.

Fighter tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Fighter has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Fighter wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Choi, who protects the arm well.

And that's the end of the fight!
Default Fighter comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Fighter winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
