Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Syd Cutter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Roland Saukkonen!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Marco Blurström and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saukkonen shoots in and gets a takedown into Cutter's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Cutter wants to stand and escape but Saukkonen is having none of it.

Saukkonen thows a huge punch but Cutter dodges it nicely.

Saukkonen takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Cutter wants to control but Saukkonen is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cutter has hold of Saukkonen's hands but Saukkonen slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Saukkonen is trying to control the action in half guard but Cutter is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Cutter regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Saukkonen.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Cutter creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Roland Saukkonen's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
