The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wooten with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling James to score with a decent uppercut.
A leg kick checked by James.
James swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Wooten showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from James.
James rushes Wooten and presses him up against the cage.

Wooten has picked James up - he's going for a ride! Wooten dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Wooten unloads with some vicious shots from mount and James wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Wooten celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
