Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between J Lingad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeffrey Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Green's choice of entrance music: that go- keak da sneak. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, J Lingad! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jeffrey Green! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Russell Pearce and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lingad misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Green.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Lingad lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Green has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Green and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Lingad avoids a kick to the body.
Green throws a push kick but Lingad slaps the foot to one side. Green getting the better of the striking in that exchange. No joy there for Lingad, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Green lunges at Lingad with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Lingad's hand. Lingad misses with a kick to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lingad tries to bum rush Green with a series of wild strikes but Green uses good footwork to avoid the assault. No luck for Green with that takedown attempt. Green ducks under a wild hook from Lingad.
That's one minute gone in the round. Green throws a body kick that misses. Green slips under a jab. A jab from Lingad misses. Lingad circles away from the clinch attempt.
Lingad throws a hook to the side of Green's head but Green sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Lingad doesn't succeed with the takedown and Green counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Green works over Lingad with some ground and pound from guard. Green has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Green won't allow Lingad to sweep him here. Green looking to pass the guard. Green trying to control the position from guard on top but Lingad is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Green postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Lingad tries to land a sweep but no joy. Green throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lingad works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Green misses the shot to the body. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Green closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lingad circles away. Lingad misses the jab. Green drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Green tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Lingad is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Green's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Lingad is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Lingad keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Green working the head and body with strikes. Lingad regains full guard. Nicely done. Green is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Lingad manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Green manages to get himself to full guard.
Lingad forces his way into half guard. Lingad takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Green looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Green misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Green looks gassed! Lingad trying to control the action but Green is working from the bottom. Lingad is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Green is refusing to be controlled, as Lingad sits in half guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Green taking some punishment here, with Lingad in his half guard. Green blocking the ground and pound attempt from Lingad.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Lingad throws a body kick that misses. Lingad fails with a takedown attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jeffrey Green dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Green scores a takedown into full mount! Green lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Lingad hang on? Green looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Lingad slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Lingad trying to hold on to Green's head to control him but Green postures up.
Lingad wants to improve his position but Green is controlling well.
Green thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Green is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Green punishing his opponent with strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lingad is looking to improve his position but Green isn't that keen on the idea. Lingad tries to hold on but Green pushes him away. Green prevents Lingad from getting the reversal. Lingad manages to regain half guard. Good work. Lingad manages to get to full guard.
Green is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Green is working Lingad over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lingad escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Green gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Green passes into half guard. Lingad wants to get back to full guard. Green working the head and body with strikes. Green is looking for a kimura here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Green is breathing heavily. Green lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Lingad makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Lingad. Lingad has his foot on Green's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Green works his way back into a safe position though. Green trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Green postures up in Lingad's guard and throws a big left but Lingad blocks it. Green tries to free his leg and advance position but Lingad is retaining full guard. Lingad throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Lingad escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Green gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Green's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Lingad looking for a sweep. Not yet Lingad, not yet. Green throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lingad works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Lingad lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Green! Lingad is in the full mount, landing strikes. Green bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Lingad throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Greenis looking to pass into half guard but Lingad pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Lingad is in guard. Lingad trying to control but Green is working from the bottom. Lingad slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Lingad wants to control but Green is keeping him busy. Green tries to strike from the bottom but misses. Lingad scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Green to see if he's OK. Lingad throwing shots but missing, from side control. Lingad tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Lingad has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Green regains half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Jeffrey Green will probably get the nod - 10:9. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Green fails with a takedown attempt from distance. J Lingad is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Danga de danga de dang - Lingad scores with a four punch combination! Lingad fails to land with a series of punches.
Lingad throws a hook to the side of Green's head but Green sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Lingad lands with a right hand. Green shoots for a takedown but Lingad saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Green slips a jab from Lingad. Green misses with a takedown attempt and Lingad counters with a head kick that wobbles Green - left then right he sways and one more bomb from Lingad sends him down. This one is all over!
