The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Garcilazo. No joy for Fann on that attempt.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Garcilazo.
Garcilazo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Fann is fending him off so far but Garcilazo persists. Nope, Fann circles away and we're back to standing.
Garcilazo shoots in for a takedown but Fann shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Garcilazo sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Fann's guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Garcilazo connects with a nice short shot to Fann's temple.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Garcilazo closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Fann's guard.
Fann working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Garcilazo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Garcilazo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Garcilazo has an Americana. Fann didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Garcilazo is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Garcilazo hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
