Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wadatsumi Shirahoshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toni Urg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Toni Urg is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Urg avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Urg avoids the head kick by Shirahoshi.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Urg.
Shirahoshi fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Urg sprawls well initially but Shirahoshi persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Shirahoshi prevents Urg from standing back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Shirahoshi prevents Urg from improving his position.
Shirahoshi looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Urg with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Urg won't allow Shirahoshi to pass to mount.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Urg is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Shirahoshi's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Shirahoshi's back!

You can see the frustration on Shirahoshi's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Urg has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Shirahoshi's body.

A bit of a pause in the action here. Urg controlling the positon.
Shirahoshi is trying to stand back up.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Shirahoshi is breathing heavily.
Urg controlling well, preventing Shirahoshi from escaping the position.

Shirahoshi is in a bad position with Urg working for a choke. Shirahoshi manages to spin nicely into guard and the danger is over for the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Shirahoshi would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Urg throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Urg is looking for a triangle but Shirahoshi pushes his legs off easily.
Urg manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Shirahoshi manages to get himself to full guard.
Urg keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Shirahoshi's head.
Shirahoshi might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Urg wants to control from the top but Shirahoshi keeps moving.

Shirahoshi wants to stand but Urg is controlling the position.
Shirahoshi looking to hit a scissor sweep but Urg is one step ahead there.
Shirahoshi is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Urg trying to control but Shirahoshi is working from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Toni Urg will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Shirahoshi tries to land a front kick but Urg steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Shirahoshi fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Urg manages to avoid it.

Shirahoshi is looking to clinch but Urg is avoiding it.
Wadatsumi Shirahoshi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shirahoshi throws a head kick but Urg moves out of range.
Shirahoshi throws a leg kick but Urg sees it coming and moves out of range.
Shirahoshi goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Wadatsumi Shirahoshi is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Urg is trying hard to land a takedown here. Shirahoshi sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Urg tries to close the distance and clinch up but Shirahoshi swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Shirahoshi throws a right and a left that Urg avoids nicely.
Urg uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Shirahoshi.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The fight stays on the outside here - Urg looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Urg gets caught flat footed, as Shirahoshi shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Shirahoshi trying to stand up but can't free himself from Urg's guard.
Urg is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Shirahoshi tries to stand but Urg is controlling from the bottom.
Urg has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Shirahoshi can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Urg is trying to keep Shirahoshi in close.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Urg pushes Shirahoshi off and scrambles back to his feet.
Urg changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Shirahoshi tries to avoid it but Urg manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Shirahoshi to the ground. Shirahoshi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Shirahoshi tries a low kick but Urg avoids it.
Urg tries to score a power double leg takedown but Shirahoshi sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Urg somewhat.
Wadatsumi Shirahoshi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Toni Urg.
Urg has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Shirahoshi clinches up with Urg and pushes him back against the cage.
Shirahoshi breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Shirahoshi tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Urg shoots in looking for a takedown but Shirahoshi manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Urg's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Shirahoshi tries to close the distance and clinch but Urg swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Urg slips a jab and a cross from Shirahoshi.
Shirahoshi throws a right and a left that both miss.
Shirahoshi misses with the combination.
Urg tries to clinch up but Shirahoshi circles away and keeps his distance.
Urg tries to sprawl but Shirahoshi drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Urg regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Shirahoshi.
Urg working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Shirahoshi doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Urg is tightening it up a little... Shirahoshi has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Shirahoshi reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Shirahoshi taps out! Nice BJJ there by Urg!
