Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Hydroxycut GrindCoreD (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocco Sifreddi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hydroxycut GrindCoreD! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rocco Sifreddi! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, John Kavanagh and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! GrindCoreD closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Sifreddi to the mat! Sifreddi manages to get full guard. Sifreddi is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Sifreddi is looking to advance position but GrindCoreD won't allow it. Sifreddi is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Sifreddi passes the guard and advances to mount! Sifreddi is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. GrindCoreD prevents Sifreddi from taking his back. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. GrindCoreD swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. GrindCoreD is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes. Sifreddi fails to take his opponent's back. Sifreddi has hold of GrindCoreD's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and GrindCoreD manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sifreddi goes for an armbar but GrindCoreD turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from GrindCoreD. Sifreddi manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. GrindCoreD manages to get himself to full guard.
Sifreddi drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but GrindCoreD manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Sifreddi has GrindCoreD in his guard. GrindCoreD wants to get up but he can't break Sifreddi's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. GrindCoreD might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Sifreddi wants to sweep here but GrindCoreD controlling him for the moment. GrindCoreD has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Sifreddi looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! GrindCoreD has picked Sifreddi up and slammed him! Sifreddi can't keep hold of the triangle and GrindCoreD manages to pass to side control! We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sifreddi can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Sifreddi is not content to let GrindCoreD control the position. Sifreddi is looking for a sweep. GrindCoreD wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Sifreddi, who protects the arm well. Sifreddi is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked GrindCoreD off and has taken his back! Sifreddi working for the choke. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! GrindCoreD wants to control his opponent's hands but Sifreddi gets his hands free. Sifreddi is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged GrindCoreD with him. GrindCoreD is trying to defend but Sifreddi has an arm under the chin now! GrindCoreD grimaces and is forced to tap out!
