Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Cook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brock Lesnar is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyler Cook!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brock Lesnar!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Cook lands a right hand that snaps the head of Lesnar backwards.
Cook has Lesnar pressed against the cage, preventing Lesnar from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Lesnar gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Cook.
Lesnar stalling in the clinch but Cook improves position.
Cook tries to circle away but Lesnar has him pinned against the cage.
Lesnar is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Lesnar is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Cook is defending well.
Lesnar takes a shot to the head.
Cook drops down looking for an ankle pick but Lesnar pulls his leg out and moves away.
Cook shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Lesnar counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tyler Cook. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Lesnar with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Brock Lesnar.
Cook changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lesnar tries to avoid it but Cook manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lesnar to the ground. Lesnar escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Cook shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Lesnar counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Cook's guard now.
Lesnar is stalling in the full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
It looks like Lesnar might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Brock Lesnar wasn't active enough on the ground.
Cook tries for a takedown but Lesnar circles away easily

and Lesnar decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Cook's guard.
Cook is breathing heavily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

You can see the frustration on Cook's face as Lesnar controls the position.
Cook takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lesnar takes a little break here. Cook wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Lesnar is working to tighten is grip on Cook's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Cook has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Lesnar is really squeezing tight and eventually Cook passes out! Lesnar breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
