Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Seth Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trent Masters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Trent Masters has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Seth Morgan's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Seth Morgan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Trent Masters! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Columbo Gatti and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Morgan shoots in looking for a takedown. Masters tries to sprawl out of it but Morgan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Masters manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Morgan scoring well with a low kick there.
Morgan looks to land a combination but Masters avoids it well. Masters has managed to clinch.
Masters breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Masters with a hook. Masters misses with a straight right. Masters swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Morgan decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Masters's guard. Masters wants to hit a switch here but Morgan passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Masters there! Masters defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Morgan. Morgan wants to take Masters's back here but Masters is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Masters wants to control but Morgan is having none of it. Masters manages to regain half guard. Good work. Morgan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Masters keeps working. Morgan looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Morgan prevents Masters from standing back up.
Morgan not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Masters trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Morgan jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Masters manages to avoid the submission attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Masters tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Morgan wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Masters is trying to control Morgan's posture but Morgan avoids it.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Masters misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Morgan counters with an outside leg kick.
Morgan misses with a two punch combination.
Morgan throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Masters makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Morgan is breathing heavily. Masters misses with a double jab
and Morgan counters by moving into the clinch. Morgan could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Masters is trying to break the clinch but Morgan has him pressed against the cage. Masters wants to break the clinch but can't.

Morgan is looking to break free of the clinch but Masters has double underhooks. Masters blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Morgan wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Masters lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Morgan wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Morgan breaks the clinch.
Morgan looks to score with a jab to the body but Masters is just out of range. Masters fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Morgan blocks a low kick nicely. Masters throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Morgan throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Masters tries to score with a low kick but Morgan moves his leg out of the way. Morgan steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Masters. Masters lands a jab to the head.
Morgan is rocked! Masters is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Morgan flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Morgan is out cold! Masters holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Trent Masters!
