Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Cameron Powers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler The Bull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Cameron Powers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tyler The Bull! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Steve Smith and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Powers is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in The Bull's half guard. Powers thows a huge punch but The Bull dodges it nicely.

Powers looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks The Bull with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. The Bull is looking for a sweep. Powers is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Powers looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Powers throws a strike but The Bull avoids it easily and moves to full guard. The Bull escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Powers gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Powers wants to stand but The Bull has a closed guard, so he can't escape. The Bull working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Powers.
That's one minute gone in the round. The Bull looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Powers working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of The Bull's head. Powers gets to his feet. The Bull looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Some wild striking there from Powers.
The Bull tries for a takedown but Powers sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. The Bull looks winded! Powers misses with a double jab
and The Bull counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Powers wants to stand up but The Bull is controlling him. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as The Bull accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Powers wants to get back to his feet but The Bull is in a dominant position and won't allow it. The Bull wants to control from the top but Powers keeps moving.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. The Bull drops back looking for a leg! Powers is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Powers manages to kick The Bull off! The Bull jumps back into Powers's guard. Powers tries to strike from the bottom.

That's three minutes gone in the round. The Bull seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Tyler The Bull was stalling too much, according to the referee. Powers fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Horrible takedown by Powers or perhaps it was just good defense by The Bull which made him look bad. Powers gets in close and instigates a clinch. A short right hand to the side of the head by Powers. The Bull has Powers pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. The Bull pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Powers tumbling to the mat - The Bull dives into Powers's guard. The Bull wants to control from the top but Powers keeps moving.

That was a close round but I would say that Cameron Powers will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Powers tries to clinch up but The Bull circles away and keeps his distance. Powers lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but The Bull circles away quickly and effectively. Powers is looking to clinch. Powers shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts The Bull as he jumps to the side. Powers lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. The Bull closes this distance looking for a takedown but Powers circles away. Powers misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
No joy there for Powers, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Powers shoots for a double leg takedown but The Bull sprawls well. He's pushed Powers's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. The Bull stuffs the takedown attempt from Powers. Powers gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cameron Powers. That's going to take a lot out of him. The Bull instigates a clinch. The Bull gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! The Bull drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and The Bull jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. The Bull is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. The Bull trying to control but Powers is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Powers wants to stand and escape but The Bull is having none of it. Powers wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The Bull thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. The Bull wants to control from the top but Powers keeps moving. Powers is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst The Bull is controlling him. Powers looking to hit a scissor sweep but The Bull is one step ahead there. Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. The Bull prevents Powers from getting back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Powers keeping moving, preventing The Bull from controlling successfully. Tyler The Bull has got the better of the ground game so far. The Bull stops Powers from standing up. The Bull advances position into side control! The Bull is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Powers is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Powers is looking to work his way out of this bad position but The Bull is controlling him well. The Bull wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Powers, who protects the arm well. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The Bull misses with the ground and pound. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The Bull working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tyler The Bull showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Powers manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. The Bull shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Cameron Powers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The Bull shoots in for a takedown and gets it. The Bull shoots in for a double leg but Powers sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. No luck with that takedown attempt from The Bull. The Bull tries to keep at a distance but Powers has taken the fight into the clinch. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. The Bull is working for takedown but Powers is calmly controlling the position for now.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Cameron Powers. I think Powers has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
