Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kid Gavilan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mirsad Vranic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mirsad Vranic is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kid Gavilan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mirsad Vranic!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, William Peck and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vranic throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Vranic shoots in looking for a takedown. Gavilan tries to sprawl out of it but Vranic keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gavilan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Gavilan throws a sloppy head kick and Vranic moves out of range easily.
Kid Gavilan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gavilan throws a sloppy head kick
and Vranic counters with a nice double leg into side control. Gavilan won't be happy with that.
Vranic misses with the ground and pound.
Gavilan on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Gavilan tries to get out of the position.
Gavilan is trying to control Vranic's posture but Vranic avoids it.
Vranic is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Gavilan looks calm but he's in trouble here. Vranic gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Gavilan is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Vranic lets go of the hold and Gavilan can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Mirsad Vranic!
After winning the bout, Mirsad Vranic thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
