Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Cesar Sampaio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Mcfee Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mcfee Jr has chosen Eminem-Cinderella man as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Cesar Sampaio has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Aleksandr Martynov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcfee Jr takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Sampaio scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Mcfee Jr wants to clinch up but Sampaio keeps it at a distance.
Mcfee Jr misses with a series of wild punches.
A right-left combo lands from Sampaio.
Sampaio lands a high kick!
Mcfee Jr gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Sampaio throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mcfee Jr's waist but Mcfee Jr gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sampaio off to one side.
Mcfee Jr wants to clinch
and Sampaio counters with a good, hard body kick but Mcfee Jr shrugs it off.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mcfee Jr has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Mcfee Jr there as he acknowledges the shot.
Sampaio staying out of range there.
Mcfee Jr has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Sampaio finds it's way round the side to connect with Mcfee Jr's head.
Sampaio shoots for a takedown but Mcfee Jr saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Sampaio stuns Mcfee Jr with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Mcfee Jr fails to land with a series of punches.
Mcfee Jr misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Mcfee Jr takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Sampaio moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Mcfee Jr is rocked!
Sean Mcfee Jr is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Sampaio thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Mcfee Jr if he has to take too many more of those.
Mcfee Jr is still on wobbly legs! Can Sampaio finish him?
Mcfee Jr misses with a few strikes there.
Mcfee Jr seems to have recovered his senses.
Sampaio moves into range and connects with a jab.
Sean Mcfee Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mcfee Jr tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Sampaio manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Mcfee Jr on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Sampaio counters with an outside leg kick.
Mcfee Jr will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Mcfee Jr looks winded!
Sampaio throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Mcfee Jr stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Sampaio shoots in and gets a takedown into Mcfee Jr's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Sampaio pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mcfee Jr is keeping the position for now.
Sampaio is stalling in the full guard.
Sampaio stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mcfee Jr swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Cesar Sampaio wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Mcfee Jr misses with a combination
and Sampaio makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Mcfee Jr really felt that one!

Sampaio smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Sampaio is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Mcfee Jr's shoulder. That is not cool.

Sampaio seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Mcfee Jr for as long as he can get away with.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

We're going to have a standup here because Cesar Sampaio wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Sampaio gets a double leg takedown into Mcfee Jr's guard.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Sampaio decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Mcfee Jr really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sampaio. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Sampaio tries to pass the half guard into mount. Mcfee Jr knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Sampaio stalling.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Mcfee Jr won't allow Sampaio to pass to mount.

and Sampaio counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Mcfee Jr!
Sampaio moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

Both fighters circling a little - Sampaio finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Mcfee Jr has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Sampaio.

Cesar Sampaio is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Sampaio keeps Mcfee Jr at a distance using the push kick.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sampaio wants to pass the guard but Mcfee Jr is keeping the position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Sampaio is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Mcfee Jr swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Sampaio counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Sampaio keeps the fight on the outside.
Mcfee Jr takes a body punch but keeps moving.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Sampaio throws a head kick that Mcfee Jr semi-blocks.

and Sampaio counters with a left and a right that stings Mcfee Jr.

A big head kick from Sampaio and Mcfee Jr is sent sprawling to the canvas!

Sampaio circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Mcfee Jr tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Sampaio wins by KO!
