Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alfons Aberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Craig Freese (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Freese has chosen I'm Sexy And I Know It as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Alfons Aberg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Craig Freese!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Tarja Halkonen and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Aberg rushes Freese and presses him up against the cage.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Aberg creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Freese blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Freese is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Aberg tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Aberg is working Freese over with some ground and pound from side control.

Aberg creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Freese sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Freese tries to buck Aberg off but Aberg is having none of it.
Aberg sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Freese is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Aberg will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Freese manages to work his way to half guard, despite Aberg's best efforts.

Freese tries to get to full guard but Aberg has control of the leg.

Aberg is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Freese knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Aberg rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Freese moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Aberg scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Aberg bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Freese's head.
Aberg is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Aberg lands a nice hook to Freese's body. Freese takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Alfons Aberg seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Freese throws a looping overhand right but Aberg ducks down to avoid it.
Freese is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Aberg.

Aberg has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Aberg takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

It looks like Alfons Aberg has been cut.
Aberg is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Freese lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Oh Aberg is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Freese is stalking Aberg. Aberg circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Freese, and it's lights out! Aberg really payed the price for that rookie mistake.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Craig Freese!
A very excited looking Craig Freese rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
