The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wave swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Giuseppe DaGiantKiller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Wave throws a low kick but DaGiantKiller moves out of range easily.

Wave tries to keep at a distance but DaGiantKiller has taken the fight into the clinch.

Wave is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

DaGiantKiller fails in his attempt to clinch.

Wave throws a solid leg kick but DaGiantKiller takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Wave.
Wave looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Giuseppe DaGiantKiller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cold Wave.

DaGiantKiller gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Wave to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Wave looking to sit in guard and control but DaGiantKiller gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Wave wants to control position but DaGiantKiller is using a can opener to pass guard... He's turned it into a full on guillotine from mount now! Big trouble for Wave here! He's turning a lovely shade of purple and yep! He's tapping out! I would say world class Jiu Jitsu but is it really? It was nice but let's not get silly about it.
