Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ares Daniels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jack Wilson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ares Daniels! The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Jeff Smith and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wilson lands with a kick to the temple. Daniels shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Daniels throws a head kick that misses. Daniels throws a head kick but Wilson moves out of range.
Wilson takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
It looks like Jack Wilson has been cut. Wilson takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Daniels misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Wilson shoots in for a double leg but Daniels sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Wilson throws a lazy right hand but Daniels sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Ares Daniels seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Daniels throws a hook but Wilson blocks it. Wilson drops his hands momentarily and Daniels takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Wilson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Daniels changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Wilson tries to clinch but Daniels moves out of range. Daniels lands a left and a right that send Wilson crashing to the mat, dazed. Daniels thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! Daniels throws a sloppy head kick and Wilson moves out of range easily. Wilson misses with a body kick. Wilson avoids the head kick by Daniels.
Daniels thows a body shot but no joy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Daniels feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Wilson sprawling to the canvas! Wilson rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Daniels finish him?!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Wilson doesn't manage to clinch there - Daniels circles away.

Jack Wilson's cut is getting worse. Wilson fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Wilson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Daniels sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Wilson somewhat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Wilson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wilson is breathing heavily. Daniels thows a body kick. Wilson tries to catch it but that hurt him. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Wilson. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Daniels throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Wilson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Wilson has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Daniels. Daniels fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Wilson, pushing him back against the cage. Daniels escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Daniels smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Daniels is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Daniels thuds his shin into the meat of Wilson's side.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Daniels moves into the clinch. Daniels lands a right hand that snaps the head of Wilson backwards. Daniels lands with a right to the head. Daniels jumps guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Wilson loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Daniels tries to land a sweep but no joy. Daniels throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Wilson has gone for a leg lock! Daniels slips out almost immediately though and dives into Wilson's guard. Daniels is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Daniels passes easily into side control. Nice work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Daniels working the ground and pound. Daniels decides to stand up, so the ref orders Wilson to his feet. Daniels has closed the distance and engaged Wilson in a clinch.
Daniels's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Daniels lands a big head kick that sends Wilson tumbling to the mat! Daniels takes a step backwards and waves Wilson back to his feet - he wants the finish! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Daniels gets in close and instigates a clinch. Wilson tries to pull guard but Daniels forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Daniels lands a body punch in the clinch. Wilson really is a fat lump. Wilson fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Daniels shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Wilson defends it nicely. Wilson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Daniels is fending him off so far but Wilson persists. Nope, Daniels circles away and we're back to standing. A punch combination from Daniels misses. Daniels tries for a takedown but Wilson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Wilson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Daniels clobbers Wilson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Daniels tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Wilson paws at him with a jab and circles away. Daniels throws a sloppy head kick and Wilson moves out of range easily. Daniels tries to land a body kick and Wilson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ares Daniels dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jack Wilson's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Daniels lands a nice hook to Wilson's body. Wilson takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Wilson scores with a body shot.

Daniels misses with a takedown attempt - Wilson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Daniels lands with a hook. Wilson tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Wilson feints a jab promting Daniels to slip. Wilson then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Daniels slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Daniels darts in and clinches Wilson up against the cage. A short right from Daniels. Daniels lands an uppercut. Daniels successfully pulls guard.
Wilson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Daniels is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Wilson is controlling him. Daniels trying to keep a closed guard but Wilson is proving a slippery customer.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wilson has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Daniels is proving hard to escape from. Daniels is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Wilson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Daniels looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Daniels avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Wilson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Wilson is pushing down on Daniels's leg trying to pass to half guard. Daniels is fighting to maintain full guard but Wilson has managed to sneak the leg through. Daniels has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Wilson in particular looking to stall. Wilson is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Daniels sees it coming and defends easily. Daniels kicks off Wilson and gets to his feet. A nice combination there by Daniels.
Daniels gets in close and instigates a clinch. Wilson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Daniels throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Wilson on the side of the head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Wilson tries for a takedown but Daniels sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Wilson throws a right and a left that both miss. Ares Daniels showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Jack Wilson's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Daniels takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Daniels lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Wilson backwards. Daniels pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Daniels stuffs the takedown. Daniels misses with a left hand and Wilson counters with a nice body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Daniels lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Wilson has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Wilson and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Daniels throws a lazy head kick and Wilson counters with a good, hard body kick but Daniels shrugs it off. Wilson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Daniels as he avoids it easily. Daniels lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Daniels wants it to stay on the feet. Daniels throws a head kick that Wilson semi-blocks.

Wilson shoots in but no luck this time. Daniels moves into range and connects with a jab. Wilson tries to keep at a distance but Daniels has taken the fight into the clinch.

Wilson shoots in looking for a takedown but Daniels manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Wilson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Daniels fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Wilson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Daniels swats away the attempt to clinch by Wilson. Wilson takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Wilson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Daniels circles away. Daniels changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wilson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Daniels is looking to take a break and control but Wilson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Daniels decides to stand back up. The fight moves into the clinch position. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Wilson drops down looking for an ankle pick but Daniels pulls his leg out and moves away.
Daniels scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Wilson tries to keep at a distance but Daniels has taken the fight into the clinch. Wilson using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Daniels has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
And that's the end of the fight! Ares Daniels comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Daniels has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
