Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alex Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steel's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Ain't No Sunshine. The crowd seem to be enjoying Wilson's choice of entrance music: Memories - by David Guetta and Kid Cudi. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alex Steel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dave Wilson! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, William Peck and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Steel throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Wilson. Steel on the wrong end of a nice hook.
It looks like Alex Steel has been cut. A combination from Steel does no damage. No luck for Steel with that takedown attempt. Wilson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Steel sees it coming and avoids it easily. Steel waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Wilson. Steel misses with an uppercut. Wilson uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Steel. Wilson ducks under a wild hook from Steel. Wilson throws the left hand but Steel avoids the punch easily. Steel goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Wilson ducks under a wild hook from Steel. Steel uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Wilson. Steel slips a jab from Wilson. Steel tries to bum rush Wilson with a series of wild strikes but Wilson uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Wilson misses with an uppercut. Wilson lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Steel on the wrong end of a nice hook. Wilson swings for the body but Steel moves out of range.
A jab from Steel misses. Steel takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Wilson lands a head shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wilson walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Steel misses with a looping left. Alex Steel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Steel moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like Dave Wilson has been cut. Wilson takes one on the button. Wilson moves out of range of the strikes. Steel moves out of range of the strikes. Wilson drives through with a takedown into guard. Wilson postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Wilson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Wilson prevents Steel from getting back to his feet. Wilson stays in close to Steel's body and controls the position. Wilson with a nice head shot there. Wilson in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Wilson is looking to work some ground and pound but Steel has wrist control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wilson missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Wilson keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Steel's head. Wilson prevents Steel from getting back to his feet. Steel keeping full guard, as Wilson tries to pass. Steel knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wilson on the ground. Wilson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Wilson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Wilson chips away with some ground and pound. Wilson missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Wilson lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Steel preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Wilson tries to free his leg and advance position but Steel is retaining full guard. Wilson postures up in Steel's guard and throws a big left but Steel blocks it. Wilson lands a couple of decent looking shots. Steel is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Steel avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wilson lands a couple of elbows. Wilson missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Steel wants to stand up but Wilson is controlling him. Wilson forces his way into half guard. Wilson is looking for a kimura here.
Wilson throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Steel keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Wilson is thwarting Steel's attempts to control the position. Wilson landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Wilson lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Steel is defending against the submission attempts here by Wilson.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Wilson is trying to work for a kimura but Steel is defending well.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Wilson connects with a nice short shot to Steel's temple. Wilson is thwarting Steel's attempts to control the position. Steel blocking the ground and pound attempt from Wilson. Steel pushes Wilson off looking to stand but Wilson dives back in and keeps control.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Wilson lands a nice short elbow. Wilson is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Wilson passes the guard and advances to mount! Steel wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dave Wilson dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Steel blocks a head kick by Wilson.
Wilson keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Steel. Steel lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Steel. Wilson lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
A telegraphed right hand from Steel misses the target. Steel throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Wilson fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Steel to the ground. Wilson is now in Steel's guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Wilson scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Steel trying to control the position.
Wilson working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Wilson wants to control from the top but Steel keeps moving. Wilson keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Steel's head.
Steel is rocked! Wilson arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Steel's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Dave Wilson! Post fight, Dave Wilson took to the microphone: 'Win or lose I'm looking to put on some exciting fights. I'll leave everything in this cage every time I step in here. '.
