The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Korkkanen shoots for a double leg takedown but Miller sprawls well. He's pushed Korkkanen's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Miller.
Korkkanen fails to land with a series of punches.
Miller avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Miller shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Korkkanen but Korkkanen pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Miller circles away from the clinch attempt.
Korkkanen lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Miller circles away quickly and effectively.
Korkkanen uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Miller has time to react.

Miller closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
