Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bigfoot Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Matrix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Lil Wayne Feat. Mike Tyson - American Dream. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Ryoma Takatsuka and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matrix misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Silva.
Matrix has a takedown stuffed.
Matrix is looking to clinch.
Silva swats away the attempt to clinch by Matrix.

and Matrix counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Matrix.
Matrix controlling from the top position.
Silva knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Matrix on the ground.
Matrix working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Matrix wants to control from the top but Silva keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Matrix throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Silva works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Sloppy strikes from Silva. Those never looked like landing.
The fight stays on the outside here - Matrix looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Matrix tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Silva swivels and escapes.
Silva circles away from the clinch attempt
and Silva counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Silva throws a shot from downtown. Matrix moves away and avoids it.
Matrix jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Silva swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Matrix avoids the body shot from Silva.
Silva throws a left and a right that both miss
and Matrix counters with a right hand to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Silva lands with an uppercut that bounces Matrix off the cage and back into range.
Silva misses with a hook. Matrix ducked under it nicely.
Matrix shoots in for a takedown but Silva shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Bigfoot Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Matrix.
Matrix is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Matrix slips a jab and a cross from Silva.
A combination from Silva does no damage.
No luck for Matrix with that takedown attempt.
Silva moves into range and connects with a jab.
Silva pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Matrix avoids a punch combination nicely.
Matrix shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Silva defends it nicely.
Matrix uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Silva.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Silva circles away from the clinch attempt
and Matrix takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Matrix shoots for a takedown but Silva saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Silva scores with a hook.
Matrix tries to clinch but Silva is having none of it.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Silva cracks Matrix with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Silva has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Matrix to stand back up!
Matrix shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Silva defends it nicely.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Matrix.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bigfoot Silva dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Matrix walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Matrix limp body while Silva jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Bigfoot Silva!
