Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Shinji Tanaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and PO Burn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tanaka's entrance music is Yuudachi. A fine choice. Burn has chosen Animal i have become as his entrance music. This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Tanaka has hold of Burn's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Burn manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tanaka has control of Burn's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Burn regains control of the situation pretty easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Shinji Tanaka.

A very excited looking Shinji Tanaka rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
