PBP Commentary |
Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Andy Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doc Holliday (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Johnson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to It's A Fight. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Holliday makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Holliday. Johnson has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Holliday to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Johnson is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Holliday pulls down on the head and he's put Johnson to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Doc Holliday! An out of breath and clearly excited Doc Holliday thanked TFP Graphics - Pit Inc for their help and support (and free stuff they sent him).
