Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Chris Saunders and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holmes has closed the distance and engaged Jones in a clinch.
Holmes is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Holmes managing to block the knees to the body from Jones.
Jones tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Holmes smiles and moves away.
Holmes changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jones looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Jones is looking for a sweep.
Jones being controlled for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jones wants to control but Holmes postures up.
Holmes is trying to get an arm triangle but Jones is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Holmes moves into full mount!
Holmes moves to the back position.
Can Jones hold on?! Holmes is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jones is trying to break free.
Holmes is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Jones knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Jones for a finish.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Holmes is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Jones with him. Jones is trying to defend but Holmes has an arm under the chin now! Jones grimaces and is forced to tap out!
