Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Wooten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and MD Amrullah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wooten comes to the cage accompanied by The Fourth Night of My Drinking by The Drive-By Truckers. MD Amrullah has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Johnny Wooten's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Johnny Wooten! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, MD Amrullah! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, John Mangel and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Amrullah tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Wooten manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Amrullah throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wooten's waist but Wooten gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Amrullah off to one side. Amrullah gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Wooten counters with a single leg into guard. Amrullah didn't expect that. Wooten is in close to Amrullah's body, working some short punches and elbows. Wooten pushing down on Amrullah's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Wooten looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Wooten throwing shots but Amrullah is blocking nicely. Wooten wants to pass the guard but Amrullah is defending well. Amrullah really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wooten. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Wooten is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Amrullah is trying to get back to full guard. Wooten is thwarting Amrullah's attempts to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Amrullah is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Wooten scores with a couple of nice shots. Wooten works his way into full mount! Wooten lands a nice shot to the head. Wooten goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Amrullah is on top in guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooten looking to hit a scissor sweep but Amrullah is one step ahead there. Wooten pushes a forearm under Amrullah's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Amrullah is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
