Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chubby Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnnie Rico (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson comes into the arena with I was made for loving you -by- Kiss blaring out of the sound system. Rico comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Stricken by Disturbed kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Johnnie Rico enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rico thows a body shot but no joy.
Johnson tries to move into range but Rico moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Rico keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Rico scores with a hook.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Rico!
Rico steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Johnson.
Johnson throws a jab when Rico was well out of range.
Rico slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Rico is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Johnson takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Johnnie Rico seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Johnson walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
A swing and a miss from Johnson.
Rico misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Johnson.
Johnson dodges the punch combination from Rico.
Rico scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Johnson throws a lazy right hand but Rico sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Rico paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Johnson misses with a straight right.
Johnson walks into a straight right hand from Rico.
An inside leg kick from Johnson misses.
Rico ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Johnson is looking to clinch but Rico is avoiding it.
Rico uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Johnson.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Oooooh!!! Rico has knocked Johnson down with a huge combo! Rico steps away and waves a wobbly Johnson back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Johnson is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch but Rico swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Oh Johnson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rico slips under a jab from Johnson.
Johnson seems to have got his legs back now.
Rico swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Johnson.
The fighters circling - Johnson throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Johnson is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Rico moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Johnnie Rico!
Johnnie Rico was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
