Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jet Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Buffer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Li comes to the cage accompanied by Tourniquet by Evanescence. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jet Li!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bruce Buffer!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Elvis Blanc and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li blocks a head kick by Buffer.
Buffer fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Buffer throws a nice looking combination but Li bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Buffer thuds a left hand into Li's body.
Li scores with a head kick. Buffer tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Buffer throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Buffer on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Li. Li obviously looking to wear him down.
Li scores with a jab. Buffer acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Li uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Buffer.
Buffer throws a body punch but Li moves out of range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Li scoring well with a low kick there.
Both fighters circling a little - Li finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Buffer shoots in and drives through. Li sprawls well.
No joy there for Buffer, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Buffer takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Buffer looks winded!
Buffer takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Buffer walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Buffer is rocked!
Li lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Buffer is still on wobbly legs! Can Li finish him?
Li and Buffer are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Li throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Buffer into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Li knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Jet Li!
After the fight, Jet Li was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
