Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Drizzt Do Urden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Coryatt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Chris Coryatt was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Drizzt Do Urden!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris Coryatt!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Do Urden clobbers Coryatt with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Coryatt throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Nice combo by Do Urden! Oh, that's hurt him - Coryatt falls to the canvas and Do Urden follows him into side control.


Coryatt is rocked!


It looks like Chris Coryatt has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Sloppy strikes there by Do Urden.
Coryatt is still in real trouble! Can Do Urden finish him?

Coryatt is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Do Urden's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Do Urden's back!

Do Urden works to advance to full mount. Coryatt defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Do Urden thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Do Urden is pressing down on Coryatt's thigh, looking to free his foot. Coryatt is holding on for now.
Coryatt wants to improve his position but Do Urden is controlling well.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Do Urden connects with a nice short shot to Coryatt's temple.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Do Urden is looking to take a break and control but Coryatt is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Chris Coryatt was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Do Urden has taken the fight to the clinch.
Do Urden has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Coryatt is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Do Urden lands a shot to the body.
Do Urden tries to work over Coryatt's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Coryatt is pushing Do Urden up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Do Urden is pressed up against the cage. Coryatt has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Do Urden down to the mat. Do Urden avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Danga de danga de dang - Do Urden scores with a four punch combination!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Do Urden's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Coryatt looks to score with a jab to the body but Do Urden is just out of range.

Coryatt avoids a punch combination nicely.

Do Urden uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Coryatt.

Do Urden fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Coryatt avoids it really well and circles away.

Coryatt takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Do Urden doesn't manage to clinch there - Coryatt circles away.
Do Urden tries to bum rush Coryatt with a series of wild strikes but Coryatt uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Do Urden throws a good cross that connects.
Coryatt tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Coryatt takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Drizzt Do Urden is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Do Urden.
Do Urden displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Coryatt throws out the jab.

Do Urden waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Coryatt.

Coryatt looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Coryatt closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Do Urden thows a body shot but no joy.
Coryatt is looking to chop away at Do Urden's legs.
Do Urden shoots in but no luck this time.
Do Urden lands with a big left! Coryatt is wobbled badly! Do Urden comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Coryatt to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Drizzt Do Urden!
